Mike Johnson joined Scout in 2022 and currently serves as Director of Operations, responsible for asset operations of the Central Division.
Mike is a graduate of Mississippi State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and has over 16 years of experience in industry.
Mike began his career at Halliburton working offshore in the Gulf of Mexico, before spending time at Kinder Morgan and Fleur de Lis Energy where he served a number of operations roles. In his time at Scout, Mike has worked operations in a number of assets and also served in a special projects capacity, developing a strategy around changing environmental laws and regulations.
Mike is a member of the American Association of Drilling Engineers (AADE) and Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE). He is also on the Mississippi State Mechanical Engineering Advisory Board.
